Mardie Salt Project – Marine Environmental & Metocean Investigations

O2Marine conducted all marine studies, including benthic habitat surveys, sediment sampling, bathymetry surveys, water quality baseline, Metocean baseline, mangrove health surveys, marine fauna investigations, underwater noise modelling, and management plans, to inform environmental impact assessment and engineering design for a solar salt project on Mardie Station in the Pilbara, WA. 

Outcome 

The Mardie Project and O2’s scope evolved significantly during the engagement, and O2Marine became a trusted advisor on all aspects of the project’s marine environmental approvals.
