O2 Sea Country Science
O2 SEA COUNTRY specialises in the design of marine science programs that promote the inclusion of Traditional Owners to achieve best practise environmental monitoring and management outcomes for industry, while also creating opportunities for the development of marine scientific skills and capacity building within Indigenous organisations to enhance their role as the traditional custodians of sea country.
Through time, trust and commitment, O2 SEA COUNTRY has developed professional working relationships with numerous Aboriginal Corporations to foster commercial opportunities, scientific training, stakeholder engagement and subcontracting arrangements to formally engage Traditional Owners on O2 Marine projects. By navigating this unique intersection, we aim to engage Traditional Owners and Rangers as integral partners in our marine projects. Our programs focus on capacity-building, skill development, and sustainable marine management while ensuring that cultural values and local knowledge are respected and incorporated into every project. We invite clients and Indigenous partners to join us on this journey of innovation and shared custodianship of sea country.
